Operations Shipping Administrator - Vacancy

Ireland’s leading luxury technology business Chupi are seeking to expand their exceptional team. We are recruiting for an Operations Shipping Administrator to join our Operations team.

The Operations & Shipping Administrator is a busy role within our Production and Operations department at Chupi. While picking, packing and shipping of orders on our busy online store are a significant part of the role, a high volume of our orders are bespoke in nature and require careful attention.

You will be a first-touch responder to incoming orders, ensuring updates on order status and inventory availability are communicated quickly and accurately through our inventory management systems. You will be responsible for both receiving in and sending out of orders and maintaining a fluid communication between your colleagues in care and production, working together as a team to constantly improve our processes with the single goal to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing and shipping of online orders.
  • Order Administration - utilising software including Shopify, DEAR, Shiptheory and DHL you will be responsible for maintaining accurate order administration that delivers smooth communication of order status and requirements across teams  from order placement to fulfilment.
  • Maintain accurate handling and administration of bespoke and out of stock orders to ensure timely shipment of the same.
  • Liaise with the care and store teams around client shipping queries.
  • Responsible for the receipt of orders from your colleagues in production and cross checked against client orders to ensure accurate order delivery in preparation for shipping.
  • Monitor, order and maintain required packaging, reporting on inventory values at the end of each month.
  • Working with the wider company teams to build out new processes that can help us all work more efficiently and effectively.

The Technology

We live and breathe technology, our team are digital natives and work across a number of industry standard platforms. Our website www.chupi.com and our store Atrium use Shopify as our eCommerce and POS platform, that attitude has made us one of the best performing Shopify sites in Europe. Alongside Shopify, our customers enjoy a number of custom built solutions built on AWS powering customer insights, product customisation and innovative CX solutions.

We utilise Slack for intra company communication, Xero for finance, Google Drive for collaboration, Dropbox for content management, Zendesk for customer care, DEAR for cloud based inventory and Notion for project management to ensure as a team we have the best tools at our disposal working across multiple sites to grow and scale an international business.

What next:

This is a full time salaried position based working in Dublin 2 (subject to a probationary period).

Unfortunately this role cannot be performed remotely. Terms will be discussed with the candidates at interview.
